About this Stone
Our second stop was the Königswarte Lookout Tower, a popular viewpoint just outside Bratislava. Standing 344 metres above sea level, the tower offers fantastic views across Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary on clear days. After enjoying the scenery, we relaxed in one of the nearby bench and picnic areas before hiding a Penguin Stone for another explorer to find. 🐧 The tower is named after the historic Königswarte hill, which has served as a lookout point for centuries due to its strategic location near the meeting point of three countries.
