About this Stone
Another stop on our biking adventure brought us to the beautiful Church of St. Bartholomew the Great in Hniezdne. This historic church dates back to the 13th century, making it one of the oldest landmarks in the region. Over the centuries, it has been rebuilt and expanded, blending medieval origins with later architectural styles while remaining an important part of the village’s history. Before continuing our ride, we found the perfect hiding place for a penguin stone in the front wall of the church, where it now patiently waits to be discovered by a lucky visitor and continue its journey.
