About this Stone
The spectacular waterfall is the reward at the end of the waddle through Liechtenstein Gorge. As millions of liters of water thunder through the narrow canyon, it’s easy to see why this is one of Austria’s most impressive natural wonders. The gorge itself reaches depths of up to 300 meters and was carved by the Grossarler Ache over thousands of years. We celebrated reaching the waterfall by hiding a penguin stone nearby, and this was just one of several ones we left throughout the gorge for fellow adventurers to discover.
