About this Stone
Another day meant another adventure! This time, we boarded the historic Schafberg Railway and climbed to the summit of Schafberg, where breathtaking 360-degree views awaited us. Throughout our visit, we hid several penguin stones, and this was the very first one, carefully tucked away behind Hotel Schafbergspitze. Perched at an altitude of 1,783 metres, the hotel sits on the summit itself and offers spectacular views over 11 Alpine lakes on a clear day, making it one of Austria’s most scenic mountaintop locations.
