About this Stone
One of the city’s most iconic landmarks, this spot draws visitors daily for its stunning waterfront views and the majestic statue—a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. The skyline and Marina Bay provide a picturesque backdrop, and boats glide past regularly. However, hiding a stone here presented an unusual challenge: the park is meticulously maintained, with no random clutter or hidden corners. Every plant sits in replaceable pots or is carefully tiled around, and anything out of place risks being reported as litter. Finding even a small patch of real soil proved nearly impossible, making the discovery of a suitable hiding spot a genuine feat of stealth and determination.
