About this Stone
The cliff here rises dramatically above a natural sea gorge, offering sweeping views over the North Atlantic and nearby islands. This place is especially beloved for its ever-changing light and the way seabirds, like puffins and fulmars, nest along its rugged edges. Historically, the gorge was used as the village’s natural harbor, protecting small boats from the fierce ocean waves. Today, it remains a serene spot for wandering, photography, and simply listening to the sound of the sea.
