About this Stone
At the Skanzen Open-Air Museum, a narrow-gauge forest train winds through the lush landscape of the Western Tatras, carrying visitors up the mountainside through dense woodland. At the top, a marked trail descends back through the forest, passing traditional wooden structures that preserve the rural heritage of Liptov from centuries past. The trail itself is a journey through time and nature—a chance to experience both the landscape and the cultural memory of the region. A penguin stone was left here among the trees, a small companion in a wild and quiet place.
