About this Stone
The Castle Garden in Nové Město nad Metují is a peaceful part of the castle grounds, known for its elegant terraces, greenery, and views toward the historic town. One of its most distinctive features is the covered wooden bridge designed by architect Dušan Jurkovič, whose colorful folk-inspired style adds a unique touch to the garden. We walked around the grounds, explored the little corners, and, of course, found a spot for another penguin stone. The penguin is in the fourth column at the bottom.
