About this Stone
The downhill hike from the Black Lake offers a breathtaking descent with sweeping panoramas of the valley below. As you make your way down, the trail quickly turns steep and rugged, demanding careful footing and strong knees. The path winds through dense alpine forest before opening up to expansive views where the green valley stretches far below, framed by surrounding mountains. Though the descent is challenging, the stunning landscape makes every step worthwhile. This is an excellent spot for a short break, to rest with some water, and to absorb the views.
