About this Stone
In one of the small, quiet parks of Krynica-Zdrój, an old tree trunk catches the eye with its rough, textured bark—shaped by decades of mountain weather and changing seasons. This spa town is known throughout Poland for its mineral springs, which have attracted visitors since the 19th century. Many of the trees in its parks were planted during that golden era, when aristocrats and artists came to take the waters and breathe the fresh air of the Beskid Mountains. Within one of these historic trees, a small penguin stone has been tucked away, blending adventure with the natural heritage of the place. Somewhere between the roots and branches, a tiny black-and-white traveler now watches over the area.
