About this Stone
The Little Carpathians are a beautiful mountain range stretching along western Slovakia, forming the green lungs of the capital. Just a short tram ride from the city center, they offer countless trails for hiking, biking, and escaping the urban pace. Locals love coming here year-round, but autumn might be the most magical season of all, when the forests turn into a palette of warm golds, oranges, and reds. The air smells like fallen leaves and pine. The trail here is peaceful, covered in rustling leaves, and sunlight filters gently through the trees. A previous stone was placed near the Vydrica observatory but didn’t remain hidden for long—it proved too visible. This time, a better spot was chosen along the main trail, tucked beside one of the trees and waiting for the next curious explorer.
