#1546 Black Lake
Black Lake, Durmitor National Park, Čierna Hora
O tomto kameni
Black Lake (Crno Jezero) is the largest and best-known of the 18 glacial lakes in Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site in northern Montenegro.
Why "black": The lake takes its deep-blue shade from the surrounding pine forests, whose reflection at times makes it almost black.
Two lakes in one: It's made of two smaller lakes connected by a narrow strait that dries up in summer, creating two independent bodies of water.
