Tento vodopád, jeden z najikonickejších pohľadov na Faerských ostrovoch, padá z útesov takmer 60 metrov priamo do Atlantického oceánu. Miesto, obklopené strmými horami a malebnou dedinkou pod ním, bolo kedysi odrezané od sveta, až kým v roku 2004 nepostavili tunel, ktorý spojil údolie so zvyškom ostrova a sprístupnil ho návštevníkom. Miestna legenda hovorí o čarodejnici, ktorá kedysi túto oblasť chránila, prekliala dedinu a rybárom bránila v úspechu, až kým kúzlo napokon nepominulo. Dnes toto miesto pôsobí priam magicky samo osebe – či už je zahalené v hmle, alebo žiari vo večernom svetle, vodopád akoby zosobňoval nespútaného ducha ostrovov. Tučniakový kameň bol umiestnený neďaleko a čaká na to, kým ho objavia tí, ktorí sa odvážia zájsť ďalej než len na hlavnú vyhliadku, aby našli iný pohľad na vodopád.

One of the most iconic sights in the Faroe Islands, this waterfall plunges nearly 60 meters straight from the cliffs into the Atlantic Ocean. Local legend speaks of a witch who once protected the area, cursing the village and making it difficult for fishermen to prosper, until the spell was finally broken. The penguin stone has been placed nearby, waiting to be discovered by those who venture beyond the main viewpoint to find a different angle of the falls.
