About this stone
We waddled through the East Slovak village of Chmeľnica and headed up towards the Suchý polder, where a quiet bench offers a lovely place to stop, rest, and take in the peaceful surroundings. An interesting fact about Chmeľnica is that it has a strong German-speaking heritage, with the village historically known by its German name, Hopgarten. Naturally, we could not resist adding another penguin stone, hiding it safely close to the bench in a tree trunk.
