About this Stone

Gülhane Park is one of Istanbul’s oldest and most beloved public parks, right next to Topkapi Palace in the Sultanahmet area. Originally the outer garden of Topkapi Palace, it was opened to the public in the early 20th century. The name means “Rose House” in Ottoman Turkish.
