About this stone
Danube waterfront in Kozloduy, Bulgaria, where in 1876 the revolutionary poet Hristo Botev and his band landed after seizing the Austrian steamship Radetzky; a replica of that ship is moored nearby, and the nearby Botev park commemorates the landing. The town is also home to Bulgaria's only nuclear power plant, and the river here forms the border with Romania on the opposite bank.
