#2333 Waikiki Gardens

Waikiki Gardens, Invercargill City, 🇳🇿 New Zealand

About this Stone

Another town where we randomly stopped and put a penguin stone in there :) Invercargill is New Zealand’s southernmost city and the main hub of the Southland region. Founded in the 1850s, it stands out for its unusually wide streets, Victorian and Edwardian architecture, and strong Scottish heritage. It also has a quirky obsession with anything on wheels, thanks partly to local motorcycle legend Burt Munro, while the huge Queens Park brings more than 80 hectares of green space right into the city.
