About this stone
Rising above the quiet village, this medieval fortress once guarded the surrounding lands with its sturdy stone walls and commanding views. Though partly in ruins today, wandering among its weathered remains feels like stepping back into the pages of history, where knights and villagers alike lived under its watchful presence. Built during the Christian reconquest, it later served as a defensive point along the border of Aragón, reflecting centuries of shifting power and heritage.
