#665 Tree Trunk

Tree Trunk, Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia

About this stone

A weathered tree trunk along the waddling trail, part of the natural High Tatras landscape shaped by wind, snow, and time. This spot embodies the spirit of the penguin stones project—hidden in the most ordinary places, where the magic lies not in dramatic scenery but in the quiet joy of discovery. The area around the lake offers plenty of similar woodland moments, making it easy to walk right past without noticing what's tucked inside. This isn't the first penguin stone resting here, and the trail continues to attract those seeking these small, hidden treasures.
