About this Stone
This forest clearing has long served as a meeting point for hikers, cyclists, and cross-country skiers, thanks to its easy access and network of marked trails leading in several directions. The name comes from the wooden cross that once stood here, marking the spot in the middle of dense forests. It has been a traditional rest stop for decades, with a mountain hut offering simple refreshments, making it a classic destination for weekend outings from the city into nature. A penguin stone was carefully hidden in a tree near the trail here, waiting to be discovered by a future hiker during their forest adventure.
