#797 Samilgyo Bridge at Cheonggyecheon Stream

Samilgyo Bridge at Cheonggyecheon Stream, Seoul, 🇰🇷 South Korea

About this Stone

This bridge is one of the most photogenic spots along the stream, right in the heart of the city's busy downtown. As you wander beneath its soft evening lights, it's hard to believe that the entire stream was once covered by an elevated highway until a major restoration project brought it back to life in 2005. The waterway stretches for about 11 kilometers and drops nearly 5 meters in elevation from start to finish, creating a gentle urban passage that feels worlds away from the city above.
