Within the Parque Tres de Febrero neighborhood, this beautiful garden showcases over 18,000 roses encircling a lake and vast parkland. The rose garden is over a century old and has received the International Garden Excellence Award from the World Federation of Rose Societies. Beyond the roses themselves, the grounds feature a lake with a Greek-influenced bridge, an Andalusian patio, and a poets' garden displaying 26 busts of famous writers. The land has a storied past—it once belonged to the country house of Argentine president Juan Manuel de Rosas until his defeat in the Battle of Caseros on February 3, 1852. The garden's design was initiated by French landscaper Charles Thays and completed by his disciple Benito Carrasco in 1914, making it a truly unique historical and horticultural destination.
