O tomto kameni
High above the Sri Lankan jungle, this ancient rock fortress rises nearly 200 meters, built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century AD. It once protected an entire royal city and stands as one of the country's most iconic archaeological sites, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. The mirror wall along the climb still carries visitor inscriptions from over a thousand years ago, making it one of the world's oldest guestbooks. At the very top, among the weathered ruins of the former palace, a penguin stone now rests among the ancient stones and foundations.
