About this Stone
Often called “The Hidden Valley”, Orakei Korako is one of New Zealand’s most beautiful geothermal parks. Unlike Wai-O-Tapu, it’s quieter, more natural, and surrounded by native forest. Its biggest claim to fame is New Zealand’s only geothermal cave and the country’s largest remaining silica terraces.
