#262 The Rose Garden

The Rose Garden, Gothenburg, Sweden

About this stone

This beautifully maintained garden boasts over 1,200 varieties of roses, making it one of Northern Europe's most impressive rose collections. You can wander through vibrant displays of both classic and modern rose species, experiencing a sensory delight in colors and fragrances. The World Federation of Rose Societies has awarded it the prestigious Garden of Excellence status, a recognition given to only a select few rose gardens worldwide. Part of the city's famous Trädgårdsföreningen (The Garden Society of Gothenburg), this is a stunning floral haven where a penguin stone now hides among the roses.
