About this stone

This beach park sprawls across the eastern coast of the island, just a few kilometers from the city center. Established in the 1930s and significantly reimagined in the early 2000s, it has become a vibrant destination for swimmers, windsurfers, kayakers, and anyone seeking sun and sand. The park covers substantial grounds and draws locals and visitors year-round for its range of water sports and beach activities. The stone was tucked into a quiet corner near one of the bridges that crosses through the area, a fitting hideaway among the natural features that make this spot so appealing.
