About this Stone
Rudolfův Kámen is one of the most famous viewpoints in Bohemian Switzerland National Park. Perched on a 484-meter sandstone rock, it rewards hikers with panoramic views over the surrounding sandstone towers, forests, and valleys. The viewpoint is named after Prince Rudolf Kinsky, who visited the rock in 1824 and later had a wooden shelter and a staircase with around 170 steps built to make the summit accessible. Of course, there is also a penguin stone hiding here! From the footbridge, continue to the first set of steps and look just above them. Keep your eyes on the rocks, a little penguin is waiting to be discovered before you continue your climb to the spectacular viewpoint.
