#784 Stature of Rocky
Stature of Rocky, Philadelphia, United States
About this stone
This bronze statue stands proudly near the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the very steps made famous by Sylvester Stallone's triumphant run in the Rocky movies. Created by artist A. Thomas Schomberg, it has become a symbol of perseverance and the city's fighting spirit. Interestingly, the statue was originally commissioned for Rocky III and later gifted to the city, where it quickly became one of Philadelphia's most beloved landmarks. It's a place that draws dreamers and visitors alike, all chasing their own Rocky moment.
