Founded in the 16th century, it was built on the grounds of an even older medieval fortification. The surrounding woods are home to a surprisingly large wild chamois population—if you visit early in the morning, you might catch a glimpse of them grazing among the trees. The walking paths here are serene and contemplative, perfect for a quiet wander through history and nature.
