This quiet forested hill in the Little Carpathians hides traces of an ancient fortified settlement. Archaeological finds suggest the spot was once a hillfort, likely during the early medieval period, its strategic position and natural defenses provided by steep slopes and rocky terrain. Today it feels far removed from any sense of fortification, surrounded by trees and calm trails. However, if you know where to look, you can still spot subtle earthworks and rock formations that hint at its past.
