#994 Bazylika Bożego Miłosierdzia

Bazylika Bożego Miłosierdzia, Kraków, Poland

About this stone

This is one of Poland's most significant modern pilgrimage destinations, dedicated to the Divine Mercy devotion that emerged from the spiritual revelations of Saint Faustina Kowalska. Its striking contemporary architecture stands in dramatic contrast to the city's older churches, drawing pilgrims and visitors from around the globe. The atmosphere here is notably peaceful, and the grounds offer panoramic views across the cityscape. Among the notable features is a statue of John Paul II, who championed the Divine Mercy message throughout his papacy. The combination of spiritual significance, architectural boldness, and serene surroundings makes this a compelling place to visit, whether for devotion or simply to experience a quieter side of the city's religious landscape.
