Táto pevnosť, týčiaca sa na druhom vrchole hory Monte Titano v nadmorskej výške 756 metrov, bola postavená koncom 11. storočia ako strategická strážnica a väzenie. Koncom 16. storočia jej vojenský význam upadol a začala chátrať. Rekonštrukcia v roku 1930 jej vrátila život a dnes v nej sídli Múzeum historických zbraní – pozoruhodná zbierka približne 535 exponátov od stredoveku až po 19. storočie, pričom ďalšie kusy sa nachádzajú v Center for the Study of Arms from the Middle Ages to the Twentieth Century v neďalekom meste. Ako druhá z troch ikonických veží dotvárajúcich panorámu je dôkazom stredovekej vojenskej architektúry a obrannej stratégie.

Perched on the second peak of Mount Titan at 756 meters above sea level, this fortress was built at the end of the 11th century as a strategic guardhouse and prison. By the late 16th century, its military purpose had faded and it fell into disrepair. The 1930 restoration brought it back to life, and today it houses the Museum of Ancient Weapons—a remarkable collection of roughly 535 objects spanning from the Middle Ages through the 19th century, with additional pieces held at the Center for the Study of Arms from the Middle Ages to the Twentieth Century in a nearby town. As the second of three iconic towers defining the skyline, it stands as a testament to medieval military architecture and defensive strategy.
