Po strmom zostupe od Čierneho jazera sa chodník otvorí do pokojného rázcestia, kde sa na otvorenej lúke zbieha niekoľko ciest. Svieža tráva a vysoké ihličnany lemujú toto miesto a vzduch sa po náročnom zostupe citeľne ochladí a upokojí. Drevený rázcestník ukazuje smer na Tauplitz a označuje cestu ďalej údolím.
