About this Stone

The Korean War Memorial is one of Sydney's most meaningful modern war memorials. Located in Moore Park, it honours the 17,000 Australians who served in the Korean War (1950–1953) as part of the United Nations forces, as well as the Korean people they fought alongside. It was unveiled in 2009 and later recognised as a Military Memorial of National Significance.
