About this Stone
We made a stop beneath Bratislava’s iconic UFO Bridge, where we hid a penguin stone among the massive concrete structure overlooking the Danube. Officially called the Most SNP, the bridge has been one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks since 1972 and was considered an engineering marvel thanks to its striking single-pylon, cable-stayed design. High above us, the famous UFO-shaped observation deck sits 95 meters above the river, offering spectacular views of Bratislava. While thousands of people cross the bridge every day between the Old Town and Petržalka, only a few will know that a little penguin is waiting below, ready to surprise the next curious explorer who happens to find it.
